The First 48- Lash Lift Post Care Edition

How long after a lash lift can I wash my face?
Lash Lift post care is easy. Technically you can wash your face the evening of your service, however, allowing your eyelashes to soak so soon after will undo the process. As a result, we recommend that you try to avoid water in the eye area for 48 hours after your service.
If you must wash your face after your Lash Lift, do it as fast as possible and dry your eyelashes immediately with q-tips or soft tissue paper such as Kleenex.
How do I prepare for a lash lift?
It is always a good idea to wash your hair the day of your appointment. This way you can keep showers short for the first two days after your service. This minimizes the chances of accidentally soaking your eyelashes.
For contact lense wearers, another tip includes wearing your glasses to your appointment. While most of the time the service goes smoothly, on rare occasions the eyes may need to be flushed with water. This usually happens when the client accidentally opens their eyes even slightly during the service. It is best to return to wearing your contacts the morning after your Lash Lift service.

Finally, some clients like to prepare for their Lash Lift by using a lash growth serum such as Adoreyes. While not necessary for most clients, we recommend this for clients that are recovering their eyelashes from recent Lash Extensions, or for clients with particularly short eyelashes.
Can I wear eyeliner with a lash lift?
After the first 48 hours, Lash Lift post care becomes even easier. You can wear mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow- the works! You can wash your face as usual. We recommend always brushing your eyelashes with a spoolie. This will help your eyelashes grow strong over time- just remember to keep the spoolie clean!
