What causes pimples on the back?
Pimples on the back can be caused by a number of things. Like the face, acne can affect the back as well. But what causes it? Some professionals will say hormones, diet, medication, and environmental factors play a contributing factor. In addition, improper use of products and ph imbalances on the skin can lead to acne.
Does back acne go away with age?
Back acne will go away with age if the contributing factor is an excess of oil production. This is due to a natural decrease in oil production as we age.
What soap/body wash gets rid of body acne?
Acne is best treated with BHA products. The main one being salicylic acid. Salicylic acid helps to decongest the skin’s surface and pores. It also has anti-inflammtory properties which help reduce the size of postules. In addition, it has the proper ph to balance oily and acne prone skin.
How often should I get a back treatment?
The frequecy of treatments depends on the phase the skin is in. if you are actively treating the condition, then book a treatment every 6-8 weeks. Otherwise, maintenance can be done seasonally.
What to expect after a back treatment?
You can expect minor skin sensitivity after a back treatment if there have been a lot of extractions. Depending on the products used and whether a “acid boost” was included to enhance the results, there may be some dryness, tightness to the skin, and possible flaking.

Our BACK Treatment, also known as a “back facial”, is up to 75-minutes in treatment time. It is our treatment of choice for active acne breakouts.
It begins with a deep pore cleanse followed by exfoliation. The exfoliation process removes build up and dead skin on your back. After that, a relaxing steam session warms and softens the skin in preparation for manual extractions.
A custom mask application delivers nutrients through a relaxing massage on your back. Moisture care is applied. The Back Treatment is meant to maintain skin balance, clear infected blemishes, and of course, to pamper ;)
2. Back Acid Peel. Treatment for back acne scars.
Our BACK ACID PEEL treatment is a Professional AHA/BHA Chemical Peel. This treatment is designed to balance the skin’s pH, lift scarring, and help prevent future breakouts. These treatments are ideal for problematic acne prone skin.

The BACK Treatment
Our Back Treatment, a facial for your back, begins with a deep pore cleanse followed by exfoliation to remove build up and dead skin. Next, we apply a professional extraction fluid that opens the pores and softens the oil and debris that causes clogged pores.
A relaxing steam session warms and softens the skin before the manual extractions begin. Your technician releases the trapped debris inside the pores using an extraction tool.
Steamed towels are used to wipe the skin clean in preparation to close the pores with toner. Toner is used to give your skin a boost of hydration which helps draw moisture deeper into the skin. Your back is then massaged with nutrients through a custom mask application. Ideal for all skin types.
