ALIVIA ME photofacials are 40% OFF throughout November 2015!
NOVEMBER SPECIAL: 40% OFF ALIVIA ME Photo facial Edmonton
Wondering where the redness and broken capillaries on your face came from? Vascular lesions are due to conditions such as Rosacea, couperose skin, sensitized skin, or simply genetically sensitive skin. These types of conditions are characterized by frequent, consistent redness, and visible redness and broken capillaries. They are most commonly found in the facial and neck area. If left untreated these conditions can worsen, or mutate the skin’s texture.
At Dérmica, we have laser procedures that treat these conditions. Our Alivia ME laser photofacial will diminish redness and dissolve broken capillaries on areas of the face, neck, chest, arms, and hands! Best of all, throughout November, Alivia ME photofacials are 40% off!
Perfect for skin conditions usually characterized by frequent, consistent redness, and visible capillaries such as Rosacea, couperose skin, sensitized skin, or simply genetically sensitive skin, Alivia ME is performed using Sharplight’s Formax-VP System. This equipment delivers quick pulses of light into the skin, targeting only the selected area. The hand piece also features a contact cooling tip that cools the skin being treated, adding maximum comfort and protection.
Our chosen technology emits a light beam into the skin which is absorbed by different skin lesions. Through selective photothermolysis, a light pulse selectively destroys a specified target without damaging the surrounding tissue. The applied light pulse is absorbed by the oxyhemoglobin (formed by the combination of hemoglobin with oxygen, present in oxygenated blood) in the blood within the vessel, causing the blood to coagulate and the vessel to break up into particles that are naturally filtered away through the body’s lymphatic system.

What is a vascular lesion and where do they come from?
Vascular lesions are due to conditions such as Rosacea, couperose skin, sensitized skin, or simply genetics. Frequent, consistent redness and broken capillaries are typical characteristics present of these types of conditions.
Vascular lesions are most commonly found in the facial and neck area. If left untreated these conditions can worsen, or mutate the skin’s texture.
Vascular Lesion Treatment
We treat these conditions with phototherapy. Photofacials emit light energy into the skin. The light beam destroys specified targets without damaging the surrounding tissue. After that, the blood coagulates and the vessels break into tiny particles that are naturally filtered away through the body’s lymphatic system.
The ALIVIA photofacial will diminish redness and dissolve broken capillaries on areas of the face, neck, chest, arms, and hands.
We use Sharplight’s Formax-VP System. Their DPC technology makes your treatments safe and effective in less time. Above all, you can rest assured that your treatment is performed by a qualified technician with your comfort in mind.
